Call for better support for extracting and managing data in RevMan
International research group proposes that future development of RevMan should support functionality for extracting and managing data for systematic reviews (doi:10.1016/j.jclinepi.2008.10.016).
The Nordic Cochrane Centre is currently collaborating with the University of Bern and 2mt Software GmbH on the development of a new online data extraction tool, RevBase. The tool is compatible with RevMan and will during a pilot period be tested by a number of Cochrane review teams. After the pilot period, the Collaboration will be offered free access for all authors working on a registered Cochrane Review, and the possibility for closer integration with RevMan.
