Interface and resources
- User favourites
New Favourites menu where each user can have easy access to frequently accessed Persons and Documents. To add an item, right-click the record and choose Add to Favourites. - List of recently accessed resources

Archie
New 'Submit for editorial approval' option when checking in reviews using Archie's interface. Should only be used in case authors have problems connecting from RevMan. Does not allow including comments, and does not show validation report, but it will reject reviews with errors. - Skype name and status
Field for entering a person’s Skype name. Will also show Skype status if the person has configured their Skype to show this online. New privacy option: Hide Skype name. - Ability to copy content from tables

A button on the standard table component (eg used to show the contents of a Resources folder) that produces a plain HTML version of the table. The plain format table can be copied and pasted in to other applications. - RevMan code used for rendering forest plots
Forest plots viewed in Archie are now identical to how they appear in RevMan. - Preferences: default sharing for Notes
You can now specify the default sharing level used when creating new notes. - Clarification of Group Author option in New Person

Messages
- Save message as note
All messages can be converted to notes on the document or person that the message relates to. Use ‘Move to notes’ to create a note and delete the message, while ‘Copy to notes’ lets you keep the message. - Adjustable pane size in Messages window
Drag the divider between the list of messages and the viewing pane. - Notifications window uses standard table

The message to Super Users when reviews are submitted for editorial approval is now “The document has now entered the editorial phase, during which it cannot be modified by authors”.
Search and Export
- Search for people in developing countries
New ‘From Developing Country’ search option. Finds people with an address in a ‘low income’ or ‘lower-middle income’ country. - Search for people by Skype name
- Search for empty fields
To search for records where the specified field is empty, choose "Equals" in the second column and leave the search term completely blank. To search for records where the field is NOT empty, choose "Does not contain" instead. - Export Contact Editor and Copy Editor roles
The export options for reviews now include the Contact Editor and Copy Editor document roles.
Reports
- Save settings in reports
Some reports include multiple options. You can now save the settings for each report type. - Publication statuses added to Review Group

Shows the number of reviews that are new, updated, changed etc. - Improvements to the time-to-event statistics
reports
Many adjustments to this report. For example: Using weeks as timescale, and the graph width is now 300 weeks. Shows median and inter-quartile range. Median is only calculated if 50% have had the event.
Workflows
Principal change
- Remaining time is no longer transferred to the next
task
When a task is completed before it is due, all later tasks will be moved forward in time. Previously, the extra time was given to the next task.
Template editing
- Customised role-to-task assignment
You can now specify which workflow role each task should be assigned to. - Multiple 'Editorial Base' roles
To allow assigning specific tasks to specific team members. - Default person for workflow roles
You can specify a person that should always be the the default for each workflow role. Not available for non-unique roles (such as External Referee). - View previous customized templates The Edit Workflow Templates window by default only shows active templates. The 'Show previous customised entity templates' options lets you see earlier changes.
