At the Information Management System Group (IMSG) meeting on 15 November 2002, it was agreed that the we should try to establish a register of IT projects within the Cochrane Collaboration. The register will be made available through the Information Management System (IMS) web site (www.cc-ims.net), which will also contain descriptions of existing software and ongoing projects within the remit of the IMS (e.g. RevMan, ModMan and the Cochrane Contact Database).

It is entirely volunteerly to submit information about IT projects within the Collaboration, but it is a good opportunity to keep other people informed about your work and thereby help to avoid that duplicate projects are established. If you would like to share information about your project, please send the following information to Monica Kjeldstrøm at m.kjeldstrom@cochrane.dk :

• Name of IT project
• Relevant contact details (e.g. name, e-mail address and entity name, project URL, if available)
• Intended user base (e.g. editorial bases of CRGs)
• Project Description

It is up to you to decide how much information and detail you want to provide under the heading ''Project Description''.
