Known bugs in Archie

No print button for View graphs - Case 50023

There is no print or download button for view graphs.

Workaround: Use the browsers print and download functions (To print, use Ctrl-P)

Result and Selection sets may contain deleted objects - Case 195

If a resource is deleted while it is in the selection set of a user, it is not automatically removed from the selection.

Workaround: Perform search/clear selection set after deleting objects.

Compare shows changes for identical sections - Case 476

The Compare function can occasionally show that changes have been made in a text, although there are no visible changes.

Workaround: none.

Other issues

Unable to cancel check-out - Case 390

Technically not a bug: When selecting Check Out in the right-click menu and subsequently selecting Cancel in the File Download dialog box, the document is checked out anyway. This is because the File Download dialog is purely about what to do with the file on the user's PC, and no information can be fed back to Archie.

Workaround: Super Users can use Undo Check-out.

Change messages in email format lack formatting - Case 1729

Since Archie's emails are plain text, email messages about changes to records do not show you what has been added or deleted, but a confusing combination of the two records.

Workaround: Show formatting in email client, or Subscribe via Archie messaging system
